Comment on SharePoint security fixes released with July 2017 PU and offered through Microsoft Update by jrauman

If you install the security fixes to SP2010/PS2010, do you still need the Cumulative Update for July 2017 (ubersrvprj2010-kb3213629-fullfile-x64-glb.exe)? I tried installing the CU AFTER I installed the security fixes through Microsoft Updates. It told me that there weren't any products on my server that were affected by the July 2017 CU.
