Comment on March 2019 CU for SharePoint Server 2016 is available for download by MIKRPI

Hi,
I’m little confused about OOS patch. Our SharePoint version is 2016. Latest patch to the OOS seems to be from January but it’s only listed under SharePoint 2019:

I checked that latest OOS media which can be downloaded from VLSC site is the same either you download it under Office 2016 or Office 2019. I have also always thought that OOS is separate product and not part of SharePoint because it can be also used with Exchange Server.

So if we have SharePoint 2016 should we install the January 2019 OOS patch to our OOS farm or not?
